“It’s perfect,” she whispered honestly, then giggled. “Yes, yes, you can talk me into lending you a hand watching over little Levi and Angel.” As if he had to ask. She loved her nephew and niece, and he damn well knew it. “I didn’t think that our lives could become more perfect. I was so wrong.”

“As long as we’re in it together, we’ve got it made.” Pressing a kiss to her lips, he tossed her onto the bed, and quickly followed after her. “So, what are your thoughts on a wedding? Big and flashy, or low key and relaxed?” Flopping down at her side, he put a hand on her belly.

“Low key and relaxed. As long as you are there and our family is there, I’m happy.” She moved in closer to him, wrapping her leg around his. “So it doesn’t matter where we get married as long as our family is there. The big question is, when?”

“Whenever you want,” he said. “Since we’re keeping it low key, all we need to do is figure out food, drinks, a guest list, your outfit, my outfit, who will marry us, and who you want to walk you down the aisle. Then there’s the music, if we go with a DJ versus a band. Are you having bridesmaids or not? We should likely hash out a few more details before we plan on a date.”

“Good heavens.” He had really put some thought into this and it stunned her. “I didn’t think that I could love you anymore, but I was wrong. I want my sister to stand at my side. Brant can walk me down the aisle, and I’m thinking we should just get married in Vegas. That way we can do it and start our honeymoon all in one fell swoop. Thoughts?”

“Well that definitely keeps things relatively simple. I’m sure we could arrange with one of the hotels for a room to have a small party after the wedding. It would be close to a bed, which we’ll definitely want. Maybe we can get them to pipe in a few tunes so we can have a first dance. Now there’s the issue of a photographer to commemorate the event. Other than that, we should be able to figure the rest of it out pretty quickly. What’s your schedule look like for next month? Maybe the second weekend?”

“I think that sounds great. As for the photographer, there are gobs of them with the wedding chapels in Vegas. I think actually most of what we want we could get from one of those. Now we just have to figure out a day and we will go from there. How’s that sound?”

“Works for me,” he said. Giving her a kiss, he hugged her closer to him. “Look at that, the wedding’s all planned out. Now all you need to do is get your dress. And let me know how formal you want this to be so that I can dress appropriately.”

“I think you would look amazing in a suit. As for a dress.” She pulled back and grinned. “I already know the one that I want. It’s one that I saw and fell in love with it. This was just a week before I met you, oddly enough.” It had to have been a sign from her mother and father that he was about to walk into her life, but she hadn’t thought about it. “It’s still there, too. David’s Bridal has the dress, it’s perfect.”

“I could pull out my dress uniform. Up to you. I don’t own a suit otherwise, so I’ll need to go shopping.” The look on his face suggested he wasn’t looking forward to that. She knew he’d do it for her, though.

“Oh, yes, your dress uniform. I can’t believe that I forgot about that.” He was a Marine. Of course he would have a dress uniform. “I want that. I want to see you and your friends all in their dress uniforms.”

“I can tell you’ve been harboring a deep-seated need to strip me out of that, haven’t you?” he asked. At her shrug, he threw his head back and laughed. “You could have asked, sweetheart. I will need to get it in for a dry cleaning, but that’s easy enough to do.”

“Well, you know…” She was blushing. “I do happen to adore every single part of you, and stripping you out of a dress uniform does hold its merit.” Okay, so she did want to strip him out of it, but come on, he was beautiful. His dark skin, his rock hard muscles. “Damn,” she whispered aloud. She couldn’t have stopped it if she had wanted to. “I’m getting all tingly all over just thinking of that. So, what do you say you grab another condom and we cement this engagement the proper way?” She couldn’t wait. She had been undercover when she met Simon, and he’d come in like a knight in shining armor to protect her. She was one lucky woman.

“I do like how you think,” he said. Rolling away, he dug through the drawer and came back with a condom in hand. He rolled it on, and then pulled her over him so she was on top.

Megan didn’t hesitate. She took him into her body, leaning down over him and kissing him. Her hips began to undulate against him as she rode his cock. Nibbling on his lips, she pulled back and whispered, “I love you, Simon Markham, so much.”

“That’s a damn good thing, because I love you too, babe.” He grabbed a chunk of her hair and tugged her gently back down for another kiss. He was meeting her thrust for thrust, and tangling his tongue with hers.

Megan laughed when Simon twisted them, taking the top once more. That laugh quickly turned into a moan when he began to thrust harder and faster in and out of her body. She moaned his name, her legs wrapped tightly around his hips and meeting him thrust for thrust. “Please.” She had no clue what she was asking for, but moved along with him, her nails digging into his shoulders, her legs holding him deep and tightly inside of her.

“I’ve got you,” he said. Nibbling over her throat, he pressed kisses to her chest. He caught one of her nipples and began to suckle in time with his thrusts. Not once did he slow down. In fact, he sped up, making the bed rock rather precariously.

Megan’s hands moved up and down Simon’s back. She rocked with him, moved with him, and arched up so that he could have better access to her neck and breasts. It was a time later that she was crying out Simon’s name, on the very edge of her orgasm and waiting for him to join her.

Cupping her other breast, he squeezed and massaged. His fingers rolled her tight nipple around as he thrust his cock into her pussy faster. When she was right there, ready to explode, he lifted his mouth from her breast and kissed her.

Megan’s screams were caught in Simon’s mouth. Their kiss silenced her and made her shudder all the harder in response. Her legs finally eased from around him, a grin on her lips when he pulled back from her. “Heavens, I think that you and I are going to do wonderfully well together, Simon Markham. My soon-to-be husband.” Oh God, she loved how that sounded. Megan Markham. Yep, it had a very nice ring to it, she thought to herself as she looked up into his eyes.

“Of course we are, future wife of mine.” Giving her another kiss, he hugged her close and let out a deep breath before rolling to his back. He pulled her into his side, and lifted her hand up to look at the ring on her finger. “We’ve got each other, Megan. That’s all we need to ensure we have the very best life we could possibly ever have.”

She stared up at the ring with him and nodded. “I couldn’t agree more.” Her head was on his shoulder and she was happy, happier than she ever had been in her entire life. “I think you should go dispose of the condom, come back, turn off the light, and snuggle with me for a bit. What do you think?”

“I think you are too right.” Another squeeze, and he was up and off the bed. Three minutes later, he returned after cleaning up and turning off the light. He tugged the blankets up and over them both, and wrapped her in his arms. He didn’t say anything, didn’t need to really. They were both of like minds on everything in that moment. The silence was comfortable, and their bodies relaxed as they snuggled together in their own little cocoon of happiness.

With one last sigh, Megan gave in to the need for sleep. She drifted off with a smile on her face and in the arms of the man she loved more than life itself.
